Privacy Policy

Praxis MD is a public NPI directory built on data CMS publishes. We collect minimal information about visitors and never sell, share, or commercialize anything you give us.

What we collect

We collect only what's necessary to operate the site and respond to inbound interest:

• Analytics: Aggregate, anonymous traffic metrics via Google Analytics 4 (page views, country-level location, referring source). We do not use cross-site tracking.
• Newsletter sign-ups (Provider Pulse): Email address and an optional role dropdown, stored in Cloudflare D1. We only use this to send the weekly digest and, when relevant, to route role-matched inquiries to Provyx.
• Lead-capture forms: If you submit a request for a custom list, we collect what you provide (email, segment description) and route it to Provyx for follow-up.
• Tool usage: The NPI Validator and Bulk Lookup tools run server-side. We log requests for abuse prevention only — not associated with personal identity.

What we do not collect

• We do not log which NPIs you search.
• We do not sell, share, or rent any visitor data.
• We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
• We do not place persistent identifiers beyond the minimum required by Google Analytics.

Cookies

We use only the cookies required by Google Analytics 4 (1-day session ID by default). No marketing or advertising cookies. You can block analytics via standard browser controls or a privacy extension; the site works fully without them.

Provider data

All provider records on this site are sourced from the public NPPES registry maintained by CMS. We publish only the public fields CMS releases. See our methodology and sources pages for full attribution.

Provider information is sourced from NPPES. To correct your record, update it directly with CMS at nppes.cms.hhs.gov. Updates flow into Praxis MD on the next refresh cycle.
